Now operated by Claire Poat and with locations in both Daventry & Towcester, we are continuing our mission to offer high quality physiotherapy services, performed by fully qualified physiotherapists, all whilst keeping prices within the reach of everyone.

Claire Poat - BSc (Hons), PgDip, MCSP

Claire graduated from Coventry University in 2006 with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. In 2017, she returned to Coventry to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Manual Therapy, further deepening her clinical expertise. She has also undertaken additional postgraduate training in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is qualified in acupuncture. Claire began her physiotherapy career in a junior rotational post within the NHS in Northamptonshire. During her rotations, she quickly discovered a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, which led to her progression into a senior role within the same specialty. Her postgraduate studies provided advanced clinical skills, strengthening her work in this area. In recent years, Claire has gained valuable experience working in private practice alongside her NHS role, and she has now transitioned fully into private practice where she continues to focus on musculoskeletal care. Away from the clinic, Claire enjoys a busy family life with her husband and three young children. She’s an enthusiastic runner and regularly takes part in half marathons. When she’s not out running or spending time with her family, Claire enjoys being outdoors and unwinding in the garden.

Amelia Fitzsimmonds - BSc (Hons) MCSP

Amelia graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 2017. Since then, she has focused her professional development on areas including sports injuries and performance, chronic pain management, manual therapy, and mentoring physiotherapy students. She is currently expanding her expertise by studying Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University in Gloucester, and is on track to complete her Master of Science degree in 2025. After qualifying, Amelia began her career in Northamptonshire, completing rotations in musculoskeletal outpatients where her passion for this area of physiotherapy first developed. She later moved into paediatric physiotherapy, gaining valuable experience in managing neurological and developmental conditions. In 2019, Amelia took on a senior musculoskeletal role within paediatrics in York, before returning to Northamptonshire to focus on supporting students and newly qualified physiotherapists within the NHS. Most recently, she has transitioned into private physiotherapy practice, alongside her studies in veterinary physiotherapy. Outside the clinic, Amelia makes the most of her time outdoors. She loves horse riding and is dedicated to training her ex-racehorse. She also enjoys walking her dogs with her partner, spending time with her extended family on their allotments, and heading down to Cornwall whenever possible to surf and explore the moors on horseback.
